Thanks! Nate for assisting me at the health fair, I enjoyed the boxing lessons and all the other things you took the time to teach. You're right I did know more than I was telling. I'm a nurse, parish health nurse, and a community health educator. And I have a personal trainer, but I needed to get back to my training. You helped me to get back on track, thank you! You are an excellent teacher and trainer.
I've been exposed to most of the equipment, I wanted to expose the other ladies to what available that's not too expensive. I've put into practice the floor exercises, getting deep tissue massages, and etc.
May God continue to Bless You and Your Profession!

What I like about Nate:
In November of 2007, when I started with Nate, I was too big for lots of my size 16 pants. I had accepted an invitation to a friend’s 40th birthday weekend in Miami the first weekend in December and wanted to make whatever improvements I could in one month. Three weeks later I had to have several of the outfits that I had planned to pack altered – yes they were too big. I have now lost enough weight to fit comfortable in a size 12 jeans. It has been a long, fun and at times painful journey.
I still struggle at times with my eating but Nate’s watchful eye keeps me on my toes.He is helpful and supportive of my attempts to eat better and quick to question my eating habits when they have gone astray.Nate has also offered many helpful tips about ways to eat better.
When it comes to “homework”, what other people call cardio, I really like the fact that Nate does not include cardio in our sessions.I have never been a fan of trainers watching their clients on the treadmill. Every minute of our workout is either demonstration, a workout or well deserved rest. Additionally, no two workouts are ever the same. We use almost every weight and contraption in the gym and the additional equipment that Nate brings with him, most notably the jump ropes and the straps. Some mornings we learn boxing combinations complete with kicks and punches, some mornings we are lifting weights, some mornings balancing and lifting on the Bosu, while others we may be in the pool doing “Hydrotone”. No two workouts are ever the same.
I, like a lot of people, spend money on clothes and hair care but nothing payoff more than the investment that I have made in my health by getting in shape. Thanks Nate!

My name is Monica Miller. I am a thirty nine year old High School Assistant Principal in Chicago, IL. I am involved in various extra curricular activities; however none of them involve any form of exercise. I tried to come up with a plan to exercise by walking, going to aerobic classes, Weight Watchers and Curves. The problem is, I did not stick to it. I spoke to a friend who decided to go to a trainer, and I thought I would give it a try. She then gave me the name and number of her trainer. This is how I met Nate.
I began working out with Nate in December. He gave me instructions on how to get my cardio five days a week, and also a list of healthy foods to choose from. I walked around my school for twenty minutes a day for the cardio. Although I was given a list of healthy foods, food is my weakness. I did not do well with this part of the weight loss, but I am trying to eat better. Nate and I discussed different ways to cook some of the foods I like. My job and other activities keep me very busy, so I am not able to cook every night. Unfortunately because of my schedule, I eat out a lot, and I eat when I get home, which is usually late in the evening.
As I stated above, I am still working on the food aspect, but I can say that I am dedicated to the workout piece of the training. In the beginning, I used to dread coming to work out, but now I look forward to it, most of the time. The workouts are helping me relieve stress. When I come to the gym, I begin by riding the stationary bike. This gives me the cardio I need and it also gives me time to think. During this time I don’t think about work or anything I have to do.
This helps me relax, if just for twenty five minutes. Afterward, Nate trains me with various items. Some days I use weights, bands and/or the machines. Nate and I converse about politics, things going on in the news, vacation spots, and many other topics during my workout. This helps the time fly by. I enjoy the conversations with Nate because even though he is a task master when it comes to working out, he is a very nice person with a great sense of humor. He is definitely a “people person”.
I have not weighed in or measured myself yet. I really don’t want to because I know that I have not done all that I should on my end. However, I have received compliments about my weight loss from others. My goal is to loose weight, become more flexible, energetic and loose the stiffness in my knees caused by arthritis. I can say that when I miss a day or a week, I definitely feel it. My body is tight and I am tired. I will not say that I am running to the gym, but I will say that I love the way working out makes me feel.
Nate is a joy to work with and has made me focus more on myself and my health. He has also taught me that taking care of my self should be at the top of my list of things to do. I have always put everyone before myself, but now I am doing something for me!!
Nate is truly an inspiration in my life. He does not take no for an answer and he challenges your mind to reach your personal goals for your workout plan, whereas you do see results. God has truly blessed him to know about the human anatomy in order to reach those goals. I am glad to have gotten back in contact with Nate, I've been knowing him for over 15 years.
Thank you Crystal Carter
"In January of this year I promised myself once again that I would start an exercise regime. As a former high school and college athlete, I was truly embarrassed that I allowed the demands of my career to push me into a sedentary lifestyle (complete with cocktails every Friday after work, and a marathon of watching sports and beer drinking on the weekends). Needless to say, after a very joyous holiday season and an equally overindulgent football season, my body needed more work than the potholes on the Dan Ryan. Although I'd made the silent commitment to exercise over and over again, 2006 was definitely the year things had to change because on July 28th I would be embarking on a cruise to the Bahamas in celebration of my 20th YearHigh SchoolReunion.
I heard about Nate's Fitness Boot Camp via an email from a mutual friend. It was early April of 2006 and although I had begun to loose weigh through diet modification, I STILL HAD NOT BEGUN EXERCISING!! So, after reading my friend's email I immediately contacted Nate and asked "When can I start?" After talking with Nate, I forwarded the email to all of my friends and family encouraging them to join, and to make it interesting challenged everyone to a weigh loss competition. My mom and sister took me up on the challenge and we all began class on May 1st. At the time I joined the Boot Camp, I weighed 170 pounds and wore a size 14. By the time I left for my cruise, I had lost 17 pounds and was wearing a size 8! I bought an entirely new wardrobe, including some sexy swimsuits, and truly enjoyed my high school reunion!
I can't praise Nate enough for what his Boot Camp has done for me! It not only whipped me into great shape for my reunion, but it's ignited my competitive spirit.I didn't stop after meeting my goal in July. It's November 2006 and I'm still a client. Recently I asked Nate if we could begin something new - the Miss Fitness Competition workout regime! So if you're ready for the challenge - join the Boot Camp today!! Maybe I'll see you in January 2007 when we start the Fitness Competition challenge!!" Sincerely, Aneita Williams
Nate,
I have been with your Boot-Camp now for 4 months and in the beginning it was great. We were outside just doing our thing. I was sadden and disappointed when it was time to come indoors thinking that spirit would diminish. I must say it is still the BOMB big time being inside also. I Love The Boot-Camp as well as my new add on feature, The Semi Private Training. I feel so inspired to have the best body we can produce and I really look forward to my work out days to get my body going. So, Thank You for the changes that I see and feel in my body and that others are complimenting me on. This is the only time in all of my years of exercise that I ENJOY working out. Your place has the atmosphere of fun while getting fit and it's GRRREAT.
Thank You

Thank you sincerely for your outstanding contribution to the success of the Health and Wellness Seminar held at Stone Temple Church on January 7, 2006. The seminar was dynamic. Thanks for sharing with the body of Christ your gift of knowledge, your debonair appeal and your sense of humor mixed with practical experience.
You motivated and inspired all who were present. What I admired most of all was your ability to minister the Word of God as it relates to our health and wellness. Your presentation was....outstanding....informative, motivating…….thoroughly enjoyable and spiritual."
